Constructed from medium-density fiberboard (MDF), a material commonly used in furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and decorative moldings, the 48-inch shelf ships in a single piece with a mitered hanger board assembly for easy installation. Adorned with a coat of black paint, it is ready to hang straight out of the box.

Look for the distinctive Pearl inlay on the right-hand side of the shelf – a mark of authenticity that distinguishes this mantel as a genuine Pearl Mantel. If you prefer a different color, the surface can be lightly sanded to accommodate your own touch. White and chocolate brown variations are also available.

With its dimensions of 48 inches in length, 9 inches in depth for the shelf, and 44.5 inches in length and 7.5 inches in depth for the bottom base, the mantel stands 8 inches tall and weighs 28 pounds.
